2. Exploring Tainan

(1 Credit)

Bachelor's students must take Exploring Tainan.

3-A. Area General Education Courses

(4 to 18 Credits)

Students must take courses from at least three of the five areas: humanities, social sciences, natural and engineering sciences, life sciences and health, interdisciplinary integration. At least 4 credits are required, with a maximum of 18 credits recognized.

3-B. Integrated General Education Courses

(1 to 15 Credits)

Includes "Leadership Forum," "Taiwan University General Education Lectures," "General Education Seminars," "Practical General Education" (up to 6 credits), and "Comprehensive General Education Courses" (curriculum guidelines set by the academic affairs office). At least 1 credit must be taken, with a maximum of 15 credits recognized.

3-C. Practical General Education

Self-directed learning where students accumulate learning points, with every 9 points equating to 1 credit. Certification standards are based on the school's "Practical General Education" guidelines.
