Research Highlights
Research Summary
Global health has been the focus of Professor Mayeesha Yu-Hwei Tseng's research. She has investigated the impact of poverty eradication programs on the health-seeking behavior of the poor in Bangladesh, assessed the policy of community health workers in South Africa, observed the practice of traditional medicine in rural India, and continued to follow the progress of the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Her previous experiences involve working with NGOs, international campaigning, and traditional Chinese medicine. Interdisciplinary collaboration greatly broadens the scope of her research. Professor Tseng believes that the health agenda of the disadvantaged in every society needs to be addressed. She invites those who are concerned about a shared, sustainable future to join her lab to identify challenges and opportunities through solid and rigorous research.
